With the Premier League kicking off in just three days, plenty of clubs have released kits for the upcoming campaign with taken inspiration from past designs and club successes. We look at 10 that have caught our eye.
Arsenal (Third) - With the official release of the Gunner's third shirt delayed, we will have to wait a little longer to see this stunner posted everywhere on social media. The inspiration for the green and blue kit is taken from the away shirt that Arsenal wore during the 1982/83 season.

Brighton & Hove Albion (Away) - The Seagulls have collaborated with Nike to reimagine their away shirt from the 2012/13 season before they were an established Premier League club. The colour combination actually harks back to the 1970s when they played in the old Division 3.

Burnley (Away) - Coming back to the Premier League with a bang is Burnley and their away shirt which is a throwback to their fan favourite 1994 away shirt. Love it or hate it, you’ll definitely know Burnley re playing away this season.

Chelsea (Home) - Taking their home shirt back to the 90s are Chelsea with a classy nod to their 1997/99 shirt. The promo on release involved Dennis Wise and Roberto Di Matteo and we are absolutely here for this modern take. Just give us a collar!

Liverpool (Home) - Liverpool loves a nod to the past with their kits and the 23/24 season home shirt does just that. Celebrating their 1973/74 FA Cup winning team, their classy home shirt is sleek and broken up with a clean white collar and matching cuffs.

Luton Town (Home) - For their first season in the Premier League, Luton Town have taken inspiration from their iconic 1970s look to incorporate a singular vertical stripe on their famous orange home shirt.

Manchester City (Home) - Champions City take to the field for the 23/24 season wearing a shirt inspired by the home shirt from 20 years prior. Who knew back then that a shirt worn by Anelka, Barton & Dunne would inspire the Treble Winners?

Manchester United (Third) - United’s third shirt for the upcoming season is inspired by a previous home shirt. Yes, you read that right. Back in 1908/09, The Red Devils wore a white home shirt and the 23/24 effort is to celebrate that season’s FA Cup triumph.

Sheffield United (Away) - Another promoted side is celebrating its past for the new season and the Blades are taking their away shirt back to a colour scheme they used throughout the 80s and 90s. Here’s hoping it doesn’t cut their time short in the Premier League.
