Pre-match shirts in the past few years have grown into their own subgenre within the football world. Here we look at 10 that have caught our eye.
England 2018 - If this one doesn’t evoke memories of the summer of 2018, little else will. Some say this should have been the home shirt of the Three Lions.
Juventus 23/24 - Taking inspiration from Juve’s Zebra style home shirt from this season, we think this one is wild!
Ajax x Daily Paper 22/23 - Part of the range released with Ajax’s third shirt collaboration with the Dutch fashion label based out of Amsterdam. Ajax rarely misses.
Jamaica 2022 - When the Jamaica and Adidas deal was announced, we were all expecting designs such as this. Can’t help thinking this would have made a great away shirt though.
Arsenal x TFL 2022 - In early 2022 Arsenal collaborated with Traffic for London on a collection to celebrate 90 years of the Arsenal tube station.
Venezia 22/23 - No list would be complete without a kappa effort from Italy’s most fashionable club.
Croatia 2022 - Worn during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, we feel this Croatia pre-match shirt is highly underrated.
Club America 2022 - Big, bold and beautiful. Three words that best describe a lot of what Club America and Nike rustle up together.
Boca Juniors 23/24 - This pre-match top from Boca celebrates the confetti-filled celebrations you will see at ‘La Bombanera from the passionate fans of the club.
Nigeria 2022 - Since 2018, Nigeria and Nike have led the way in funky & exciting kits and pre-match shirts. This release from 2022 is no exception to that.
